November 2024

• Repairs will commence on the viewing platform at Emu Flats Road, Weldborough after it was damaged in the August storm.
• Mangana Road reconstruction will continue.
• Ansons Bay Road grading will commence in preparation for the next 1.2km section to be sealed from the current end of seal, northwards.  This project is partially funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.

Roadside slashing will soon commence, please keep an eye out for the contractor as he makes his way along narrow roads around the municipality. Approach with caution and drive to the reduced speed limit.

Playground Painting

The playground equipment at Binalong Bay, St Helens Foreshore and Stieglitz will all get a fresh lick of paint this financial year.

The painting at Binalong Bay will start on 25th November 2024 and will take about 1 week to complete (depending on the weather).  The playground will be closed during the work.
